Founders need more than capital to build a great company. It takes a partner who understands the entrepreneurial journey and who knows what it takes to win. From founding seed to IPO and beyond, we’re involved every step of the way.
Ankur sports a ponytail and stopped aging a while back. For over 20 years, he has advised entrepreneur-driven companies, startups, PE and VC funds, and large corporates. Ankur is energised by building relationships with go-getters and going deep with them on problems.
A startup evangelist, Ankur has spent over 14 years helping digital-first businesses and startups. As a partner at EY for over two decades, he spearheaded global best practices of diligence, consumer internet, e-commerce and startup services. His expertise spreads across M&A transactions, acquisitions, divestures, investments, and joint ventures.
Ankur is supported by his way better half Karishma and has to match up to the energy of his twin boys whilst being an avid pet parent. Originally from Delhi, he is a long-time Bangalorean by choice.
Karthik is always first-in-line to try any new tech products / productivity tools (outcomes are yet to be seen!). He's been part of the Indian tech ecosystem since 2005, with experience across venture capital, product development and marketing.
Karthik was recognised among "40 Under 40" by Equalifi India (e.k.a AIWMI) in 2019 and among "Top 100 Rising Stars" by Global Corporate Venturing in California, US from 2016 to 2018. True to his inner technologist, Karthik has worked on developing innovative IoT solutions and has co-authored a patent in the area of Wireless Networks.
Karthik and his wife are hands-on parents to their twin boys. He has been a trekking enthusiast and wildlife photographer (although that's now happening only in his dreams and he hopes to bring it to reality again soon)
Rohit is your friendly neighbourhood investor-preneur. He co-founded Cloudnine Group of Hospitals in 2006, which is now India’s leading chain for maternity, fertility, and childcare services. Building his venture from scratch and growing it to be ready for public markets, Rohit understands the nuances of founder journeys.
With over 22 years of entrepreneurial and management experience, Rohit has been a collaborative partner to several early-stage founding teams while leading Capier Investments. He was recognised among the Economic Times 40 Under 40 in 2019 and Business World 40 Under 40 in 2018.
Rohit is a doting father, learning and unlearning life through the eyes of his tween son. A food critic by nature who never knows what he wants to eat, he still wound up winning CEO MasterChef India.
Abhishek believes the theme of his life is to find and create immersive experiences. A chemical engineer from IIT-Roorkee, Abhishek now spends his time finding the perfect "reaction" between business models and technology.
Abhishek started out as an investment banker, where he got to witness first-principles thinking and invested in some of the coolest companies. A strong adherent of the principle “Measure What Matters", he tries to apply it to work and life.
Abhishek is an inherently curious being, which leads to his passion for Notion, whiteboards, and WhatsApp as a notepad. When he is not working, he can be found playing badminton, dabbling with MCU trivia, and attempting to engineer serendipity.
Hailing from Nainital and being a victim of capitalism, Tushar has lived across several cities knotting people together and building micro-networks. He has been a part of the startup ecosystem having worked at Venture Catalysts and ICICI, providing debt and equity funding to late and early stage startups.
Tushar has a strong handle on operational chops, having run his own flower-based beverages company. He has also worked with D2C brands during college across sales, marketing, operations, and fundraising. He holds an MBA from NMIMS Mumbai and a Bachelors in Economics from DCAC, Delhi University.
Tushar is equally enthusiastic about reading stock markets as well as palms to predict the future. He is always excited to meet budding entrepreneurs and fellow VC folks; catch him at a ThirdWave near you!
Sarjana strongly believes in business being an agent of positive change. Having worked with university leaders to solve operational challenges, she understands how tricky it is to balance multiple, often conflicting, priorities. She is really excited about the entrepreneurial magic of Bangalore!
Sarjana has a degree in Economics and began her career with a research and consulting role, working with universities, colleges, and schools in the US and Canada. She then served on two growth and strategy teams (though she hates the term "strategy" -- too vague and cliché!).
Originally from Lucknow, Sarjana has lived in four countries but still can't go a day without her kadak chai. When not working, you can find her struggling at a hip-hop class or debating the meaning of life.
We are always looking for energetic, talented, and diverse team members. For our portfolio companies and our own team. Please reach out to info@peercapital.in to introduce yourself and let us know what excites you.
